After severe damage to the property and many lives lost, Jats reservation protest has ended, however local boy, Randeep Hooda is still deeply bemoaned. Talking with a daily newspaper he said, "I am heartbroken to see my city Rohtak, up in flames like that. I have not witnessed this kind of violence in many years. Somewhere, I have this strong feeling that it was not just against reservation.

The actor further added that there were certainly anti-social elements that infuriated the whole protest. “This turned the whole agitation into an inter-caste colour and riot broke. It was found that the violence and outcry broke mostly in cities, in comparison to rural parts of the region,” Rang-Rasiya star added.

Randeep will be next seen in his ‘Do Lafzon ki Kahaani’ with Kajal Aggarwal. The flick is being directed by Deepak Tijori, where release date is yet to be finalised. The promising actor has also worked insanely on his body for Sarabjit, losing 18 kilos as he plays the character of Sarabjit Singh, an Indian who was imprisoned and killed in Pakistan.
