Here’s How Ranveer Singh Prepared For His Role In Padmavati

We have seen actors going to great lengths to get into the skin of their characters. Many of them are so involved in their characters that they do not even come out after the director says ‘cut’. Adding to the list of those actors is Ranveer Singh.

We all know how talented the actor is and it is evident from his films. While working in Bajirao Mastani, the locked himself up in a room to prepare for his role of Peshwa Bajirao Bhalad. And now he has done it again for Padmavati, in which he essays the role of brutal ruler Sultan Alauddin Khilji.

"Ranveer refrained from making unnecessary conversations with anyone around him. The actor didn't want to be distracted, even momentarily, while adding the final touches to his look. And after getting completely ready, he would walk out of his van, with the body language and attitude that his character, Khiji, demanded. The only person who was kept out of the diktat was obviously his director, Sanjay Leela Bhansali,” revealed a source close to the film. Padmavati, also starring Deepika Padukone and Shahid Kapoor, will grace the silver screens on December 1, 2017.
