Could This Be The Reason For Abhishek Bachchan Leaving Paltan?

Even after giving finest performances in movies like Bol Bachchan, Guru, Paa, Abhishek Bachchan is still considered as an underrated actor. He was last seen in Housefull 3 which was a big dud at the box office. The news of him signing JP Dutta’s Paltan brought some relief to his fans who have not seen the actor for a long time.

Paltan is based on Indo-China war that took place in 1962. It also stars Sonu Sood, Jimmy Shergill, Arjun Rampal, Gurmeet Chaudhary and Harshvardhan Rane. However, now it has come to light that the 41-year-old has backed out of the project.

According to reports, the Dostana actor was very elated to be a part of the project, but was disappointed on knowing that his scenes in the movie are less than that of Sonu Sood. A source said, “Abhishek was quite kicked about Paltan. However, he realized after a while that Sonu Sood had more screen space than him. That bothered him considerably. When he discussed his apprehensions with Dutta, he told him that while Sonu had more screen time, it was Abhishek who had a better character written for him. Dutta could not convince him and he backed out at the end minute.” However, there is no official confirmation regarding the same.
