In Pictures: Here’s How Shruti Haasan Celebrated Her 32nd Birthday In Los Angeles!
Shruti Haasan celebrated her 32nd birthday on January 28 with her close friends in Los Angeles. She shared a few pictures on her Instagram account in which her rumoured beau Michael Corsale was also present. She wrote alongside one of the photos, “What An amazing evening with my favourite gentlemen who made my birthday extra special @krishnan.bass @brianlammusic @timmfoutch @theoccasionalmoonlight @daniel__olson #birthdaygirl #bestmealever #happyheart #blessed #besties #laughedsomuch.”
She also shared a picture with her friends and wrote, “Thankful for my beautiful friends.”
Speaking to DNA about her career and rumours about marriage in a recent interview, Shruti said, “No, I’m not getting married. I wish everyone else also now stops planning my wedding, on my behalf (laughs). I want to concentrate on a lot of other things right now than just getting married.”
The last movie that Shruti was seen in was Behen Hogi Teri opposite Rajkummar Rao in 2017. There has been no announcements regarding her upcoming projects and she also walked out of the period Tamil film Sanghamithra.
Speaking about taking a break from acting at this point in her career, she said, “My whole career has been a risk. At times, you pick films that other people say ‘no’ to. Sometimes, you make choices which people around you don’t approve of. Some movies work, some don’t. But I’m not going to stop myself from doing something because I’m afraid of it. I needed the time to step aside, and reassess my life. I don’t owe anyone an explanation for it. I’m happy I took a breather and now, I’m ready to do the kind of work that I want to take up. “
