Amitabh Bachchan Will Not Celebrate Diwali

When it is Diwali, how can we forget the Bachchans who are known to host big Diwali bash at their home. The party is attended by who’s who of Bollywood. Last year social media was filled with the inside pictures of the bash which were shared by celebrities who attended the party.

This year too people expected a similar bash at Bachchans' residence. However, this year Amitabh Bachchan and Co. will not host any Diwali bash. And the reason is because of Bachchan bahu Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.

The family will not celebrate Diwali this year as Aish’s father Krishnaraj Rai passed away this year in March. As per rituals, families of people who die keep away from celebrating any festival for a year. Hence, the Bachchans will not celebrate Diwali and will stay at their homes for a close affair with family.

Recently, the Bachchans flew off to Maldives to celebrate Big B’s 75th birthday on October 11. The megastar chose to celebrate his birthday with his family instead of hosting a big birthday party.
