Here’s Why Shraddha Kapoor Wants Biopic On Her Father Shakti Kapoor

“I definitely think it’s possible to make a film on him”, says Shraddha Kapoor, the daughter of veteran actor Shakti kapoor. While interacting with a leading daily, the 27-year-old actress shared her views on why a biopic on her dad should be made. The Haider actress said that her father is quite a compelling figure.

“He’s done a lot of films, almost 700 movies here. He’s also a Guinness record holder”, Shraddha said. Over a decade back, a television channel exposed a sting operation in which the Bollywood villain was seen purportedly asking sexual favours from a woman. When asked whether she wants the scandal to be a part of her desired biopic, Shraddha said, “There are so many things to gossip about and make news of. It’s just a part-and-parcel of the industry”.

“If a biopic is ever made on my dad, I would want him to be showcased as an artist, as an actor. Because the fan following he has, is crazy. That will be nice to see”, added the Aashiqui 2 actress.

The ongoing trend of biopics in Bollywood is apparently growing. We wonder if one is made on the Bollywood baddie plus comic actor, will it be more of a crime drama or rib-tickling flick.
