She has lived a protected life so far and this film has allowed Alia to discover more about herself in many ways.

Highway has really touched the young actress and she believes that the person inside her will not be the same after this film. Being a city’s grown-up girl, Alia feels that through Highway she got the chance to meet the real women of India who spend their lives on the soil of the small towns. The actress is highly grateful to her director Imtiaz Ali for making this movie and making her a better actor.
