Hindu activists protest against calling Radha sexy in SOTY

Creating woes for filmmaker Karan Johar, activists of a right-wing organisation held demonstrations outside a city multiplex to protest against the use of Goddess Radha’s name in a derogatory manner in a song of his latest filmStudent Of The Year.The activists from Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) also demanded that the Censor Board should ban the movie for the derogatory reference. The activists said that the song terms Radha as "sexy", which is an insult to the sentiments of Hindus. The organisation has also threatened to stage a protest at the venue of the ongoing g Mumbai Film Festival if their demand is not met.
