Homi Adjania All Set to Shift His Focus From Off-beat Films To Biopic

Known for making off-beat films, like 'Being Cyrus', 'Cocktail' and 'Finding Fanny', Homi Adjania has shown his interest of venturing into genre of biopics. When quizzed about famous personality he is interested in making a biopic on, the director replied, “No not at all. It’s the story of an unsung hero. But I can’t give out any details at the moment. All I can say is everyone should know the story.”

“I genuinely don’t know which film will go on the floors next. I am working on a couple of ideas including a biopic. It’s challenging to make one (biopic) but it’s an interesting space to be in,” he said.

The director is currently busy with ‘Raabta’ starring Sushant Singh Rajput and Kriti Sanon in the lead. The movie which is scheduled to hit the theatres on June 9, 2017 will mark Adjania’s debut production. Moreover it will mark the directorial debut of Dinesh Vijan who has previously worked with Homi in several films.
