Housemaker Role In Ki And Ka, Not Image Breaking: Arjun

Actor Arjun Kapoor who plays a homemaker in R Balki directorial said that his decision to choose such a role is not an attempt to change his image. The actor who is otherwise known for his action and romantic roles in 2 States, Ishaqzaade and Tevar will play an unusual character in his next. Arjun will enact the role of a not-so-ambitious house husband to Kareen Kapoor Khan.  

When the 30-year-old actor was asked if his role in the film can be termed as an experiment, Arjun said, “Many people are calling it a gutsy move. I don't think it is only that. When a director sees that capability in you... I never saw myself like that”. The actor who is currently seen hosting the 7^th season of Khatron Ke Khiladi added, “We were always told that you have to look macho, do action but I have a soft side to me which Balki sir saw. I am somebody, who was close to his mom, so this also appealed to me. I never saw it as an image breaking move”.

Arjun Kapoor was recently seen performing to a track from Ki and Ka, titled High Heels. The actor wore 4-inch red heels for the song, which is a revised version of the original track. The movie is set to the theatres on April 1.
