How Badlapur changed Varun-Alia’s friendship

After beginning their careers together in Karan Johar’s Student of the Year and then flowing their chemistry in Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania, Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt have come way. But there’s something about them that Varun feels has changed.

According to Varun, their friendship isn’t the same anymore. The two actors have been busy in their respective works and Badlapur has made him lose all touch with most friends. "Badlapur phase changed my friendship and equation with everyone, not just Alia. That is the price I had to pay to do this film. I actually have lost touch with lot of my school friends. I missed a close friend's wedding and he really got upset, he told to a leading daily. Badlapur is a film that will show Varun in a completely different avatar. The film is directed by Sriram Raghvan and will hit the screens on February 20^th.
