Hrithik Roshan celebrates Mahashivratri at Panvel Shiva temple with family

Bollywood superstar Hrithik Roshan who has been signed up to play Shiva inShuddhi, celebrated the Mahashivratri in a very special way this year. He planned a special visit to his family-owned Shiva temple at Panvel on the holy day. A close source confirmed, “This being the 25th year of the huge Shiva temple, that his grandfather J Omprakash built, the family plans to celebrate the occasion in a big way.”

Hrithik is all set to start shooting forShuddhilater this year. The movie is based onThe Immortals of Meluha, the first book of author Amish Tripathi’s Shiva Trilogy. Presently he is busy wrapping up the post-production process forKrrish 3, and will soon start working for Siddharth Anand’s action thrillerBang Bangopposite Katrina Kaif. But still Hrithik managed to take out some time from his busy schedule to offer his prayers at the Shiva temple.

The source added, “He has kept that day off from his tight schedule so that he could attend the puja there and offer his prayers with his family.” Hrithik remained unavailable for any further comments but his spokesperson confirmed the news.
