Hrithik Roshan As Desi Rambo?

Bang Bang director Siddharth Anand acquired the rights to Sylvester Stallone's high-octane action drama, Rambo, about two years back. He intended to remake the Hollywood franchise and now, it seems like the project is ready for production. According to reports, Hrithik Roshan will be playing Stallone's character in the Hindi version of the film.

“Hrithik (Roshan) is always on top of my mind, but I haven't finalised anyone as yet. It can be a new actor as well”, said Siddharth. According to a source close to the production team, “Hrithik is currently busy with his other commitments and he will need to invest a lot of time into the prep for 'Rambo' considering that it is a landmark character in American cinema. The film is now in the pre-production stage”.

While the involvement of Hrithik in the film is currently uncertain, what’s confirmed is that the character will have a desi twist. Whether or not the speculations follow through, Hrithik fans would surely love to see him in the Rambo avatar. Siddharth’s Bang Bang was also a remake of the popular Tom Cruise starrer Knight And Day.
