    Hrithik Roshan has shared that he plans on campaigning for the disabled after being inspired by the visually challenged and their contribution. The actor played a blind man in his latest film ‘Kaabil’ which has been getting positive feedback from the audience. Talking about the issue, Hrithik said, “We are the people who are blind to the blind people, to not see what they are contributing to society”.

    The actor says that part of his journey from now onwards will be to help people with all kinds of disabilities. “On my part I will not just stop here. I plan to campaign for the disabled, not only the blind. That is going to be my part of the journey from here”, the actor said adding, “We are the people who are blind to the blind people, to not see what they are contributing to society”.

    The Bang Bang actor hopes that the movie will help in breaking stereotypes against the blind. He said that cinema has propagated a certain image for blind people which is not true. Hrithilk feels that without acknowledging this truth, progress cannot be made.

    ‘Kaabil’ hit the screens on January 25 alongside Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Raees’. Hrithik’s film has crossed the 150 crore mark in box office earnings.
