Bollywood’s most desirable hunk Hrithik Roshan, who was admitted in Mumbai’s Hinduja hospital for removal of a blood clot, has successfully come out of the surgery today. Dr. VK Mishra, who operated Hrithik, confirms the stability of the star saying, "The operation (brain surgery) has been successful. He is fully conscious". The doctor also revealed the cause of the injury saying that an injury took place few months back when Hrithik was performing a stunt scene. A team of Indian doctors and a neurosurgeon from abroad was called upon to operate on him.

The 39-year-old, who was in chronic subdural hematoma condition after the injury, was suffering from frequent irksomeheadaches so his family decided to send him for an MRI test. The test resulted in a clot between brain and skull. The actor then chose to get the surgery done first and later move to Prague for the shooting of Bang Bang. It was learnt that a hole was created in the skull from which the clotted blood was made to come out with anesthesia through suction. During this 50-minute operation on Hritik that started at around 3pm, he was accompanied by his parents as well as his wife Sussanne. Hrithik’s dad, Rakesh Roshan commented on the wellness of his son, "The surgery is over and Hrithik is fine. He should be out of the hospital in the next 48 hours."
