Hrithik Roshan’s Kaabil To Have A Hollywood Version

Actor Hrithik Roshan must be having a whale of time. And why not. After all, his movie Kaabil is going to Hollywood.

Confused over what we are talking about? Hrithik Roshan’s last release Kaabil which hit the theatres in January managed to become a hit even after being clashed with superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s much anticipated film, Raees.Hrithik’s impeccable performance of a blind person who avenges his wife’s (played by Yami Gautam) murder was praised by everyone.

The content of the film was loved not only by Bollywood fans, but, by also by Hollywood makers who have decided to remake the film in Hollywood, making it the first Bollywood movie to be remade in Hollywood. Sanajy Gupta, the film’s director confirmed that 20th Century Fox has approached Hrithik for the rights. Wow! It is not only a great news for the film’s team, but also for everyone as till now only Bollywood took Hollywood ideas and incorporated them in Hindi films.

Talking to Mid-Day, Gupta said, “It’s true that Fox, through Tomas Jegeus [president, Fox International Productions], has approached Hrithik. Even though the developments are too premature to talk about at this moment, it is an honour for the team. What is also exciting is that Kaabil has been declared the best film of [the first half of] 2017 via an online poll. So, it’s a double win for us.”

However, it not clear whether Hrithik will be a part of the remake or not.
