Shah Rukh Khan on Mother’s Birthday: ‘I would be slapped for telling her age’

They say that god could not be everywhere so he created mothers. It seems that Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan does believe his mother to be god, which is why even after 24 years of her death, he still never fails to wish her on her birthday. He did so even this year on her 74^th birth anniversary.

King Khan wished his mother on micro-blogging site Twitter and shared that she would have slapped him for mentioning her age on a public platform. Shah Rukh tweeted, “She would be 74 years today and I would be slapped for telling her age....it's a happy day today. pic.twitter.com/njED5QQ385”. The Chennai Express actor keeps his audience updated about incidents taking place in his life via social media. 

Late Lateef Fatima Khan, mother of Badshah of the industry, passed away in 1991 due to complications of diabetes. The Jab Tak Hai Jaan star misses his mother a lot and regrets that his mother could not see his work as an actor. The actor credits her for all his success and believes that he wouldn’t have been what he is, had his mother’s blessings won’t be there.
