Huma Qureshi to do an item number in her next

Sriram Raghavan’s next venture titled Badlapur is supposed to be a dark thriller. Badlapur is all set to feature Varun Dhawan, Huma Qureshi, Yami Gautam and Nawazuddin Siddiqui in the lead roles. While Yami plays the role of Varun’s wife, Actress Huma Qureshi will be seen portraying the role of a prostitute.

Latest buzz has revealed that the pretty actress will be seen in an item number with Varun Dhawan. The music would be inspired by '90s hits like Tip Tip Barsa Paani, Rangeela Re and Ek, Do,Teen. Well, it seems filmmaker Sriram has come up with a unique idea to add glamour quotient to the movie. He is currently talking to composers Sachin-Jigar about his idea. Huma said, "I've always been a fan of the the decade. I've grown up on a healthy diet of Bollywood films and now I'm watching chartbusters featuring Urmila Matondkar, Madhuri Dixit and Raveen Tandon all over again to get into the groove. My favourite is Tip Tip Barsa Pani. It's sensuous and aesthetic." On being asked about her approach to the role of a sex worker, the actress said, "When I went through the script, I realised it's one of the meatiest parts I've been offered and I'd be a fool to refuse it. Besides, it's a privilege to be directed by Sriram Raghavan so early in their career."
