Will Geeta Phogat’s Coach Take Legal Action Against Aamir Khan's Dangal? Find out!

Dangal was the much awaited flick of 2016 and the movie was truly worth it. The Aamir Khan starrer depicted the journey of renowned wrestler Mahavir Phogat and how he trained his daughters, Geeta and Babita Phogat, to be the national and international champions. While, the fans can’t stop praising Aamir and his reel daughters for the stupendous acting in the film, there’s one person with whom the movie didn’t go down well.

The movie also showed the real coach of Geeta Phogat, PR Sondhi, in negative light. Touching the controversy, Sondhi said, “Mai ek baar Aamir Khan ko kehna chahunga ki unhe coach se baat karni chahiye role dikhane se pehle; Action lene ka koi irada nahi (I wish to tell Aamir Khan that he should talk to the coach before portraying the role. I don’t wish to take any (legal) action (against him)”.

So, with this, the matter ends here. The national wrestling coach earlier said that he has not yet seen the film and will consider about taking any legal action after watching it. Helmed by Nitesh Tiwari, Dangal released on December 23.
