After being appreciated for his high-octane action scenes in the 2013 film Commando, actor Vidyut Jammwal is confident that no other actor in Bollywood can outdo his performance in that genre. The 36-year-old, who was recently in Delhi to promote his upcoming film Commando 2, is pretty sure that fans will love him in the sequel too. “What I do, nobody does. I have seen the movie (Commando 2) and I would like people to raise the bar of action in Bollywood. We did that in Commando, and it has not been broken since then. I’m waiting for someone to break this, not only in Bollywood but even internationally. I am happy that I have been getting compliments on social media from international action directors who find the film inspirational,” says Vidyut.

Taking full credit for what he has achieved in the industry, the actor says, “With Commando, I had an ambition to be the best action hero in India and I’ve achieved that. Commando 2 will be my first out-and-out action movie. I am hoping that people accept this too. Then I can move ahead and take up something different,” he says.

However, Vidyut has no set plans for his future projects and says that he likes to go with the flow. “I don’t plan things. I am very proud of where I am today. I come from a non-film background and to make it big as an action hero is an achievement,” he adds.
