I Have More To Me Than My Appearance: Lisa Ray

Making waves with her recent cover shoot for a popular magazine, actress Lisa Ray opened up about how she feels about her on camera looks and in reality. Canadian born star opened up and said that most of the people associate her with just the looks, but she is more than that. She added that she completely looks different in reality.

“On meeting me, a lot of people are surprised how different I look [in real life] from the films and covers I’ve done. That’s only natural. In fact, that may be one of the reasons I’ve chosen films such as Water (2005) and Veerappan, which are distinctly unglamorous. I think I still challenge perceptions. I live for myself and don’t seek validation”, she added.

She added that it is one of the best things about getting older. Lisa referred it to be ‘wonderfully liberating’. The actress will next be seen as Liza Merchant, which has tentative title Zahhak.
