I Have No Friends In Bollywood, My Friends Are From Outside The Industry: Ileana D'Cruz

Ileana D’Cruz has several south movies to her credit. After impressing everyone down south, the Goan beauty came to Bollywood. She made her Bollywood debut with critically appraised film Barfi in which she starred alongside Ranbir Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra.

Her impeccable performance in Barfi led the actress won the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut. Post Barfi, the dusky beauty was seen in several movies such as Happy Ending, Phata Poster Nikla Hero, Rustom and others. She has worked with Ranbir Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan, Priyanka Chopra, Arjun Kapoor, Shahid Kapoor, Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgn and Varun Dhawan among others.

Though Ileana has been in the industry for the past five years, she has not made any friends in Bollywood apart from Varun Dhawan. “I have no friends in Bollywood. All my friends are from outside the film industry. Varun is my only close friend in B’wood. We became pretty thick during the shoot of Main Tera Hero and I felt that I was bonding with my friend from college. We had so much fun and energy going at that time that we became fast friends,” said the 30-year-old star.

Ileana will next be seen in Mubarakan which also stars Arjun Kapoor, Athiya Shetty, Arjun Kapoor and Anil Kapoor. The film will release on July 28. She also has Baadshaho in her kitty.
