“I haven’t seen Aashiqui yet” says Aashiqui star Anu Agarwal

The real Aashiqui actress Anu Agarwal says that she hasn’t seen the film yet. Strange but true. The44-year-old debutant actress of the megahitAashiqui became the first choice of the directors and acquired stardom overnight but the actress says that she never wanted it. Anu explains that she never said yes to Mahesh Bhatt for becoming a heroine. It was Mahesh, who somehow managed to convince her for this film.

Many rumours about the former actress arose after the flick and after being distressed from the bad press and the fan frenzy, she left Bollywood and also India to live a peaceful life but fate was decided. In 1999, she met with a car accident in which her half body got paralysed and also she lost her memory in that mishap. She was ignorant of her debut film and stardom she had in Bollywood. It was learnt in an interview with Anu, “I haven’t seen Aashiqui yet. I think I should though, I haven’t done that yet”.

She further explained the reason for quitting Bollywood, “After my first film, some guys who didn’t even know me wanted to date me. I just did a role in a movie, I am not that person. I am not thatAashiqui

girl, they thought I was. How do I deal with those guys?” Right now, the actress is writing a book of her journey to stardom, her discovery of her childhood and spirituality.
