Arjun Is Sincere, Hard-Working And Focused On His Craft: Anil Kapoor

Anil Kapoor and his nephew Arjun Kapoor are sharing screen space together in Mubarakan. While Arjun is all set to play a double role for the second time in his five-year-old career, his real life uncle Anil will play his reel life chacha and mama in his upcoming film. Talking about the film in a recent interview, the Beta actor said that the film has helped in improving their bond.

He said, “As you all know, I am still young at heart. My nature is such that I do not wait for anyone to come forward and befriend. I like to bond with one and all, irrespective of our age gaps. Similarly, while working with Arjun, we became more like friends. When the barriers of age and gender get broken, everyone is an equal. Our fondness for each other increased and we share a much better relationship now. Also, since we broke the ice, there’s no awkwardness in the work environment”.

The 60-year-old actor also praised his nephew and said that he never thought Arjun would become so hardworking and focused for his work. He added, “I never thought this guy would become so sincere, hardworking and so focused on his craft. As a kid, he was very fond of good food, better cars and the best gadgets. He would visit the sets and has seen Boney and me working together. He has observed that and imbibed the technical knowledge of filmmaking”.

On a related note, Mubarakan is scheduled for a release on July 28 and would also feature Ileana D'Cruz and Athiya Shetty as the female leads.
