I prefer horror over drama: Emraan Hashmi

While promotingEk Thi Daayanhere along with producer Ekta Kapoor and co-actor Huma Qureshi, Emraan Hashmi addressed horror as an integral part of Indian cinema.
The Serial Kisser said, “I prefer horror over drama because the audiences reaction is immediate. Horror makes people jump out of their seats.” “In India, a film like Raaz3 has upped the bar in terms of visual effects in horror and Ek Thi Daayan will do it further. Horror is now part of mainstream cinema in India, which was not so till a few years back,” he added.

The 33-year-old actor has done three films with Ekta, includingOnce Upon A Time In Mumbaai(2010),The Dirty Picture(2011) andEk Thi Daayan(set for release on April 18). This year, Emraan will also be seen with Kareena Kapoor Khan in an Ekta and Karan Johar’s joint venture.
