I Read The Script And Couldn't Get It Out Of My Head: Sushant Singh Rajput On 'Raabta'

The trailer of Dinesh Vijan’s upcoming romantic mystery ‘Raabta’ released a few days back. The movie stars Sushant Singh Rajput and Kriti Sanon in the leading roles. After looking at the two’s dreamy chemistry and ​ Rajkummar Rao’s startling transformation in the trailer, we have got high hopes from the flick.

Recently, Sushant revealed how he pursued Dinesh to make the film. Divulging that he takes time to prepare for his movies and has no qualms for it, the actor stated, “I am a selfish actor. So, if I have to invest six-seven months of my life in a film, the script should excite me”.

“Interestingly, Dinesh discussed four scripts with me but 'Raabta' was not one of them”, Sushant continued, adding, “But I read the script and couldn't get it out of my head. Although there are things in the film that I personally don't believe in, the script was so well-written that I wanted it to be made”.

On a related note, ‘Raabta’ is scheduled for release on June 9. The flick is an adaptation of Ram Charan Teja-Kajal Agarwal’s Telugu movie ‘Magadheera’.
