Ranveer Singh Regrets Saying That He Could've Done Kaminey Better Than Shahid Kapoor!

Sanjay Leela Bhansali ’s ‘Padmaavat’ brought together two of the most handsome and loved actors. Shahid Kapoor and Ranveer Singh worked together recently for the first time in the period drama as Maharawal Ratan Singh and Alauddin Khilji respectively.

Recently reports of the two actors sharing cold vibes started surfacing the internet. It all started when Shahid said that he could have played Khilji differently. The Ishq Vishq actor said, “Of course. Which actor would not wish to play a character like Khilji in a Sanjay Leela Bhansali film? You know, once on 'Koffee with Karan', Ranveer said he would have done my role in ' Kaminey ' better than me... I would have done Khilji differently”.

For the uninitiated, Ranveer once gave a statement that he would have done ‘Kaminey’ better than Shahid. When the Bajirao Mastani actor was asked to comment on this, he said, “I think in my first year I was very arrogant. In retrospect, that is not something I should have said. I regret saying that (I could have done ‘Kaminey’ better than Shahid Kapoor)”.

He further added that what Shahid said about portraying Khilji is obvious.
