After giving an astounding performance in Pradeep Sarkar’s critically acclaimed flick Mardaani in 2014, talented actress Rani Mukherjee has been away from the spotlight. The actress, who is a mother of a 1-yr-old baby Adira, was on a maternity leave to take care of her daughter. The actress is now back to work and will be soon seen in YRF’s next production.

In a recent interview, the actress talked about her upcoming movie Hichki and her baby Adira. She said she feels responsible for her fans who want her to work. Talking about giving time to her child when she is working, the Kuch Kuch Hota Hai actor replied, I don’t want to take away anything from my motherhood, from my time with Adira, so I will plan my life in such a way that I will work and I will give my 100 percent to her. That’s the way I want it to be because when Adira grows up, she should be proud that she has a mother who works. I hope she respects me for that. At the same time, I hope she doesn’t feel that I dedicated all my time to my work”.

She continued, “When she is 18, I want her to tell me, ‘I loved how you balanced life. You worked and you made your fans happy, you made yourself happy, and you were there for me when I needed you and you were there even when I didn’t need you”. On a related note, the actress has started shooting for the flick.
