I Want To Spend Every Moment That I Can With Misha, Says Mira Rajput

Recently, Mira Rajput addressed the masses at an event on the occasion of International Women’s Day. She talked about her life as a homemaker and also talked about her journey with hubby Shahid Kapoor. We all will agree with the fact that being married to an actor opens doors for criticism, especially in Mira’s case, where she is a homemaker. Well, with much openness, Mira broke her silence on being a victim of this subject.

Talking about being a homemaker and spending time with her daughter, Mira said, “I had a tough pregnancy, I went to those 5 months of difficult times to bring my daughter into this world. So now I want to spend every moment that I can with her and I think there is a set of responsibilities around my plate and I feel at my age I have a lot more energy, I have my future ahead of me, so I can finish all of my responsibility and I have nothing in my way. I can raise my daughter, I can be a good wife. Nothing will stop me after that. I love being at home, I love being a mother to my child, I wouldn’t want to spend one hour a day with my child and rush off to work, why did I have her? She is not a puppy; I want to be there for her as a mother.”

Mira is happy with the fact that she loves being a homemaker. And also adds that nothing is more endearing than seeing her daughter Misha grow. She doesn’t want to be a mother who would spend one hour a day with her child and then rush off to work. Also, she addressed the issue of feminism. Calling today’s feminism belligerent, she gave the audience an insight that it’s not about woman versus man, it’s about equality, she said.
