I Wanted Sunny Sir To Play The Role Because It Adds Credibility To The Film: Said Shreyas Talpade On Casting Sunny Deol In ‘Poster Boys’

Actor- filmmaker Shreyas Talpade is busy with his next directorial ‘Poster Boys’ which stars him and Deol brothers, Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol, in the lead roles. The movie is the official remake of Marathi film ‘Poshter Boyz’, which was produced by Shreyas. Touted to be a little sensitive, the flick revolves around three characters who find their pictures on a vasectomy poster.

“I wanted Sunny sir to play the role because it adds credibility to the film. It’s a little sensitive subject, and Sunny being a part of the film adds the credibility that it isn’t an unpleasant or cheap film and it’s a family entertainer,” said Shreyas at the trailer launch of the movie. The launch was attended by Sunny, Bobby Deol, Dharmendra and Sonali Kulkarni. Shreyas was determined to have Sunny and Bobby in the film.

Well, Sunny who is usually known of doing action roles has said that he agreed to do the film as he found the script very interesting. He further stated that he got an opportunity to play something new which he has not played in the past. Looking at the trailer, Dharmendra was so impressed with it that he even asked Shreyas to make its sequel. ‘Poster Boys’ will hit the theatres on September 8.
