I Would Only Take Defining Roles: Tigmanshu Dhulia

After giving a robust performance in Gangs of Wasseypur as Ramadhir Singh, Tigmanshu Dhulia will take nothing less than a substantial role. The actor made it clear by refusing a role in recently released ‘Wazir’, starring Amitabh Bachchan and Farhan Akhtar. The director-actor was last seen in ‘Hero’, playing IG Shrikant Mathur.

“I can’t do a role where the hero is seen punching me. Bejoy (Nambiar) offered me the role of the main villain in Wazir. But I didn’t accept it as I was not interested in getting beaten up by Farhan Akhtar. I have to protect my directorial image”, the actor declared.

He went on to say, “I can’t take up any role just for money. I won’t do frivolous role or anything that gives a wrong message”. The director is gearing up for his upcoming release ‘Yaara’, which features Vidyut Jamwal.
