'Hollywood Would Be Fun': Ileana D'Cruz

While there are some in Bollywood who were able to make a mark for themselves with the help of godfather, however, there are some in the industry who created a niche for themselves without the help of anyone. And Ileana D’Cruz is among them. The actress has scaled the heights of success in the Hindi film industry without any godfather.

Now after leaving an impression in Bollywood, the Goan beauty aspires to follow the path of Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Padukone. Yes, now Ileana wishes to achieve success in Hollywood. “I am most comfortable in English. So, Hollywood would be fun, but I don’t have an agent,” the 30-year-old star said.

And the clever girl knows how to make headway into the West. “Social media has made everyone so accessible that if people want to choose an Indian actor, they can find me. I don’t want to do the whole audition thing again. They can watch any of my films for reference. I am not going to run after anything or anybody. I believe I am qualified,” said the Barfi actress.

Despite coming from a non filmy background, Ileana has never been desperate to for films. She believes that after a certain point of time when a person makes contacts with people, they can get better offers. However, the dusky beauty wishes to be remembered for her work. She said, “I won’t go out for a drink with someone just for a film. It’s just not me.”

Ileana is currently gearing up for the release for her upcoming film ‘Mubarakan’, in which she plays a Punjabi girl. She will star along with Arjun Kapoor, Athiya Shetty and Anil Kapoor.
