Imran Khan plans to revive grandfather Nasir Hussain's production banner

The grandson of renowned filmmaker Nasir Hussain and talented Bollywood actor, Imran Khan, is reportedly reviving his grandfather's production company. The actor has recently confirmed the news at legendary actress Asha Parekh's 70th birthday bash that he has plans to revive Nasir Hussain's film banner that has made iconic films such asJab Pyar Kisise Hota Hai, Phir Wohi Dil Laya Hoon, Teesri Manzil, Yaadon Ki BaraatandZamaane Ko Dikhana Hai.

As Nasir's son Mansoor Ali Khan has not made any films after making Shah Rukh Khan-Aishwarya Rai starrer film Josh in 2000, now the youngest Khan of the family wants to take up the job. His decision was lauded by many senior actors like Amitabh Bachchan, Jaya, Manoj Kumar, Aruna Irani and Asha Bhosle who were present at the party. A source said, "Everyone present at the party appreciated this thought and patted Imran's back for making an attempt at keeping his heritage alive. They felt it was a noble act".
