Imtiaz Ali: Never Worked With Actors As Good As Ranbir And Deepika

Imtiaz Ali seems to be quite obsessed with his upcoming film Tamasha, which stars Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone in lead roles. Contradicting his once given statement that he “disliked them as actors” and felt that they “don't possess any merit as actors”, the Highway director has now said that he has never worked with actors as good as Ranbir and Deepika. He further said that their talent was a learning experience for him.

“It was really good. It's actually a learning experience for me when you work with good actors. I've worked with Ranbir and Deepika before. And for each scene, the way in which I envisioned the scene, it always turned out to be different than that. And it's different because of their talents. I'm convinced about the fact that I've never worked with actors as good as them”, said Imtiaz.

Imtiaz Ali has worked with Ranbir in Rockstar and with Deepika in Love Aaj Kal. The Piku star and the Roy actor have reunited on the big screen are their super hit pairing in Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani. Tamasha, produced by Sajid Nadiadwala is all set to hit the theatres on November 27.
