Imtiaz Ali Reminisces About Tamasha On Its 2nd Anniversary

It seems like yesterday only when Imtiaz Ali ’s directorial and Ranbir-Deepika starrer movie Tamasha won hearts of the Indian audience. It has been two years since the movie was released. With movies like Rockstar , Love Aaj Kal and Jab We Met , Imtiaz has created a niche for himself.

Recently, the director talked about the impact of Tamasha on the audience, he was quoted as saying, “I think Tamasha is one of those films which has affected people positively. That is something which is very significant to me because a lot of people have come to me and said that how the movie has changed them, their attitude and many were positive changes. If this movie has had such an effect on people, it is a matter of pride for me”.

The filmmaker further reminisced about the favourite scenes of the movie such as the scene when the ‘Tum Saath Ho’ song was being played and when Ranbir gets scolded by the storyteller. Ali also stated that if Ranbir and Deepika had not accepted to portray their respective roles, he wouldn’t have made the movie.
