    A lot of buzz was created in the Indian film industry when the Hollywood director Woody Allen decided not to release his creation, Blue Jasmine in India, saying that he doesn’t want to have anti-smoking adverts during his flick. In this context it is being observed that many Indian filmmakers are also supporting Woody’ say.

    Director Shoojit Sircar said, “I am glad Woody Allen took a stand. Those visuals are disturbing for viewers.” Followed by Gyan Correa, he stated, “Personally, I am against any kind of coercion or censorship. We pay a price for crimes we don`t commit. Like most Indians, I don`t even smoke!” Many other Bollywood celebrities have also agreed to Woody; Kabir Bedi and Bejoy Nambiar.
