    Indian Horror film festival for short films to be held in May

    The Sixth Sense Horror Film Festival has called all filmmakers and aspiring filmmakers to submit their short films showcasing the horror genre.

    The duration of the film should not be more than 15 minutes and can be submitted in any format. The subject must be presenting horror /thriller/slasher/sci-fi genre only and all the submissions should be subtitled in English. The films can be submitted online here.

    The Sixth Sense Horror Film Festival is scheduled to be held from May 18-20 at YB Chauhan and Ravindra Natya Mandir in Mumbai. The three-day short film festival is dedicated to honouring and celebrating the legacy of short horror films. It aims to appreciate and support established and upcoming filmmakers dedicated to the horror genre.

    The final deadline to submit films is May 11. The fees for submitting a short film will be Rs 2,500 or $40. There are various gateways available on the website by which you can make the submission! Also, there is a 60% waiver for submissions from April 13-25.

    The winners will get prizes with Rs 2,00,000 for the Best Film, Rs 25,000 for the Best Director, Rs 20,000 for the Best Writer, Rs 15,000 for the Best VFX, Rs 20,000 for the Best Cinematographer, Rs 15,000 for the Best Editor, Rs 15,000 for the Best Background Score, Rs 10,000 for the Best Trailer, Rs 5,000 for the Best Poster Design, Rs 20,000 each for the Best Actor in Male and Female roles, and Rs 10,000 for the Best Makeup.
