Interesting Roles are Being Written for Actresses Today: Arjun Kapoor

On July 2, Bollywood actor Arjun Kapoor attended a book launch event, the 30-year-old actor while sharing his feelings with the reporters said that the things are no longer the same in Bollywood, the scenario has changed as interesting roles are now being written for actresses. Moreover, the women characters have now become incredible on-screen.

"That is a new way of conversation but this (roles for women) has been there for many years. Women characters on-screen have become fantastic." the 2 States actor said. He further added "They keep asking about women-oriented films. I like to put it this way that nice characters are written for actresses than saying that women oriented films are being made."

Arjun himself has tried his hand in writing as he aspired to become a director earlier. But he soon realised that he wasn’t good at it, due to which he did not dwell on it again. The actor while speaking on the sidelines of the launch of book named "Me, Mia, Multiple", which is written by Debashish Irengbam said, "Our industry has now realised the value of good writers. There was a phase where lot of things got lost, we tried to put in masala ingredients into cinema and there were lot of things that went haywire. But I do see lot of things will change."
