Irrfan Khan: ‘Her beauty is like poetry’

Irrfan Khan, who will be next seen in a romantic movie opposite Golshifteh Farahani, said the actress’ beauty is like poetry. The PK star, who is quite excited, is looking forward to work with Iranian actress. This Anup Singh directorial is based on folklore from the Indian state of Rajasthan.

The Paan Singh Tomar star said in a statement, “I'm looking forward to shoot with her. I was mesmerised when I saw her in another film. Her beauty is like poetry. Anup (Singh) and I instantly felt she would be the right fit for the role”. As of now, the Iranian beauty is busy shooting for Pirates of the Caribbean 5 with Johnny Depp. The 31-year-old actress has done popular films such as Gods and Kings, Just like a Woman and About Elly.

Previously, in an interview with Mumbai Mirror, Irrfan revealed his long desire to play the lead in a romantic film. “It has taken me a long time to make my presence felt as a romantic lead. I'm glad for the opportunity even if it's come late in life. I cannot be a lover boy now but I can be a lover”, said The Lunchbox actor.
