For comedian Sunil Grover, quitting The Kapil Sharma Show is not the end of the world. He has a long list of admirers. Even after quitting the show he has been flooded with offers from various serial makers.

Everyone heaped praises on him when he showed his comedy antics in the final episode of singing reality show Indian Idol. He also appeared on an episode of kids reality show Sabse Bada Kalakar where filmmaker Anurag Basu is one of the panel of judges. He performed along with another former member of The Kapil Sharma Show, Ali Asgar.

We all know how brilliant actor Sunil is. But there was one more person on the show who was taken aback by his performance. Guess who? Well, he is none other than Anurag Basu who so impressed by his performance that he was even overheard telling a unit member that he ‘thoroughly enjoyed’ the gag. And do you know what was the impact of his performance on Anurag?  After watching the comedian, the filmmaker plans to rope him in his film.

Grover’s character Dr Mashoor Gulati and Rinku Bhabhi on The Kapil Sharma Show has become extremely popular among the people. His characters are popular even after he left the show. Soon after leaving the show, the comedian did a live show in Delhi. He is all set to perform another live show in Ahmedabad on May 27, 2017. The Ahmedabad chapter will also include Ali Asgar, Chandan Prabhakar, Dr Sanket Bhosale, Sugandha Mishra and Roshni Chopra.
