Is Neeraj Pandey Planning His Next Movie With Shahid Kapoor?

Shahid Kapoor has been in talks with Neeraj Pandey and Bhushan Kumar for a movie where he might play the role of a boxer. The ‘Padmaavat’ actor will be seen next in Shree Narayan Singh’s ‘Batti Gul Meter Chalu’ opposite Shraddha Kapoor and Yami Gautam. Earlier, Shahid was also spotted at Ekta Kapoor’s office and now he had a closed-door meeting with Neeraj Pandey.

“It was a very fruitful meeting between the three and an announcement is soon on the cards. Shahid has already allotted bulk dates to Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra for Kabaddi and is also toying with dates for one of his favourite filmmakers, Vishal Bharadwaj, apart from Imtiaz Ali. You can expect an announcement soon,” says a trade source.

Moreover, Neeraj Pandey’s ‘Aiyaari’ received a mild response from the audiences. It now seems that Pandey needs a big star for his next movie. If the rumours are true then Shahid might be playing the role of a boxer in his next movie.
