    Is THIS Bollywood Actor Going Playing Sanjay Gandhi In Madhur Bhandarkar’s Next?

    Film director Madhur Bhandarkar has roped in Neil Nitin Mukesh to play Sanjay Gandhi, Indira's younger son in his upcoming project. The film has been titled as ‘Indu Sarkar’ and is a fictional tale which has been inspired by real life events. It is based on the 1975 Emergency, which was imposed by Indira Gandhi when she was the Prime Minister. We also hear that Kirti Kulhari, who was one of the lead actresses in 'Pink’, has been roped in to play the role of a poetess.

    The ‘Lafangey Parindey’ actor said, "It's great to team up with Madhur once again after Jail (2009). The role is extremely challenging." Praising the actor, Bhandarkar took to twitter and said, “After a superlative performance in #Jail @NeilNMukesh will join to play a pivotal character for the dramatic narrative of film #InduSarkar”. Mukesh and Bhandarkar are putting in a lot of effort for the film, they are engaged into extensive research and are also meeting various journalists and activists.

    The shooting of the film will commence in December and the production team will be recreating Delhi. However, the national-award winning director has planned to finish the shoot within 35-40 days. Desimartini hopes that the movie sails smooth at the box office.
