Is Raees Sequel On Cards?

Shah Rukh Khan starrer Raees was one of the few movies of 2017 which was a hit. The movie marked the Bollywood debut of Pakistani actress Mahira Khan. The flick was produced by Gauri Khan, Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar under their banners Red Chillies Entertainment and Excel Entertainment.

Now we have some good news for Shah Rukh Khan fans as producer Ritesh Sidhwani just confirmed about the film’s sequel. In his Twitter account, Rahul Dholakia, who directed Raees, wrote, "#Raees most Pirated film of 2017. Now how does one react to this? @ritesh_sid.” Replying to this, Ritesh wrote, "Look at the brighter side the audience we have for the sequel #RaeesReturns."

However, we are not sure if Mahira would be a part of the sequel considering India’s relationship with Pakistan. On the work front, SRK is busy shooting for Aanand L Rai ’s dwarf film titled Zero, where he will be seen in a double role. In one of the roles, he will be seen as a dwarf. The film also features Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif .
