Is Rahul Bose Coming Up With Sequel To Jhankaar Beats?

Rumor streets of Bollywood are abuzz with reports that Rahul Bose is all set produce a sequel to Jhankaar Beats. The 2003 hit film that was packed with outstanding musical and comedy sequences. Rahul has also starred in the first part alongside, Juhi Chawla, Shayan Munshi, Sanjay Suri, Rinke Khanna and Riya Sen.

Bose is currently working on his directorial project Poorna, a biopic on Malavath Poorna. He has returned to filmmaking after a gap of 15 years. When asked about his experience, the 48-year-old actor was quoted as saying, “Directing ‘Poorna’ was thrilling. It brought three of my greatest loves together – cinema, sport-adventure and social causes”.

When media approached Rahul and asked him if he is really coming with the second iteration of Jhankaar Beats, he said, “I will produce a sequel to Jhankaar Beats. Once ‘Poorna’ releases, I will start working on it. It will be an interesting project. I will act in the film and someone else will direct it”.

Reportedly, the Pyaar Ke Side Effects actor is also keen on producing Marathi movies. He has once stated, “Marathi cinema is going through exciting times”. Well, it looks like Rahul wants to try his hands at every single thing related to filmmaking, be it producing or directing a flick.
