Is Supriya Pilgaonkar Bidding Adieu To Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi

It might be very disheartening for the fans as rumours have been doing the rounds that Veteran actress Supriya Pilgaonkar, who is presently the face of the Indian Television is quitting Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi. A few days ago, Supriya Pilgaonkar, who is essaying the role of Ishwari in Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi expressed her displeasure over the show’s screenplay. However, a recent drift from the original script has urged Supriya to quit the show.

When asked about the genuine reason of her disappointment, she said, “When initially I signed the project it was not about a saas-bahu saga. In fact, it was a unique concept and character but currently it is progressing like a daily soap. I hate saas-bahu dramas. I would have been happy, if I was initially being told that the show is a saas-bahu drama but Kuch Rang is different and hence I was expecting something different. I don’t blame the creative people as they too need time and a person needs patience to deal with such things”.

Supriya took to her Instagram account and posted a picture, captioned, "This is the last picture I am posting as Ishwari. I no longer relate to her. Don't want To waste my time over sas bahu drama".

Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi grabbed a lot of attention in the media, appreciation from critics and love from the audience during the first few months of its release.  However later on, like all other daily serials, this one too diverged from its plot and adopted the clichéd saas bahu drama format. Now, we hear that Supriya is not quitting, she is going to have a word with the makers of the show.
