The much talked about biopic on PM Narendra Modi that has been in the pre production for too long, will finally hit the floors in August this year. Film’s lead actor Paresh Rawal who will portray the man on screen informed reporters as he came to Delhi to promote his film Dharam Sankat Mein.

It’s a massive responsibility to portray Narendra Modi on screen, says Paresh Rawal

Paresh told that playing someone like Narendra Modi on screen would come with a massive responsibility and he will do his homework well. "I will start shooting the Narendra Modi biopic from August. It's a massive responsibility being an actor to portray a leader of such great stature. He knows that I am playing him in his biopic," the actor said. The film has been in writing even before since Modi was elected as the PM.

Talking about the kind of preparations he would have to undertake as an actor, Paresh said, "Like the way I did during my stint in playing Sardar Patel in the film Sardar, here also I have to do loads of photo reading and listen to his speeches. But I will not mimic him. I will try to capture his spirit. I know very well that I can never look like PM Modi." Paresh Rawal is believed to be a close aid of PM Modi and was elected an MP from Ahmedabad last general elections.
