‘Ittefaq’ Hits The Floor!

The remake of the 1969 drama film ‘Ittefaq’ was on the cards. As per sources, the film has finally hit the floors. This touted film will feature Sidharth Malhotra and Sonakshi Sinha as the main leads. However, the original flick featured Rajesh Khanna and Nanda.

Taking to Instagram, B-Town hunk Sidharth shared a picture of the clapperboard from the sets. The picture was captioned, "It begins." Earlier in an interview, Sid shared his excitement about this project. He said, "It feels great to know that I've been chosen to recreate the magic of Rajesh Khanna and Nanda's edge-of-the-seat thriller. We've reworked the script to suit the current times, but kept the essence intact."

The 1969 flick was the first song-less thriller in Bollywood. It went on to attain the cult classic status over the year. The remake of this entertainer is being collectively produced by Shah Rukh Khan’s Red Chillies, Dharma Productions and BR films.
