Ittefaq Remake Finds Its Lead Actors?

Following the news of a remake of the 1969 film ‘Ittefaq’ possibly being directed by Abhay Chopra, it has now been reported that the project might have found its lead couple. According to reports, Sidharth Malhotra and Sonakshi Sinha might be roped in for the film.

The project seems to be a huge one as Shah Rukh Khan’s production house Red Chillies Entertainment, Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions as well as BR Studios will be teaming up. The three studios will work together to come up with a new twist for the remake, as reported by Box Office India. Now that, is one massive collaboration!

The original film starred Rajesh Khanna, Nanda and Bindu. It was directed by Yash Chopra and produced by Baldev Raj Chopra. Sidharth will next be seen in the Nitya Mehra directorial ‘Baar Baar Dekho’ where he will share screen space with Katrina Kaif. On the other hand, Sonakshi will be seen in ‘Force 2’ and ‘Akira’.
