Jackie Chan Is Seeking Indian Actress For Skiptrace 2

Hollywood's action film star Jackie Chan has always flaunted his love for the Hindi film industry. The martial artist has previously shared screen space with Indian beauty Mallika Sherawat in The Myth and now he is reportedly looking out for another Bollywood actress to play a pivotal role in the second iteration of Skiptrace. The first part of the same is all set to hit the screens on September 2.

In Skiptrace 2, Jackie will sport a role of a Hong Kong-based detective who works with Johnny Knoxville. Reports are swimming across that the film’s makers have already reached Mumbai to search for an Indian face for the film. A source close to the development was quoted as saying, “So far, a few actresses have auditioned for the part. Shobhita Dhulipala and Tillotama Shome are among the top contenders for this part. Since Jackie is the producer of the film, he will take the final call on casting after discussions with director Renny Harlin”.

Jackie has also worked with Indian stars Sonu Sood, Amyra Dastur and Disha Patani in his upcoming flick Kung Fu Yoga which is expected to be released in October. Helmed by Stanley Tong, the movie is India-China co-production of Shinework Media and Taihe Entertainment. Well, it looks like Jackie is totally in love with India.
