Jackie Shroff to play villain in Farah Khan’s Happy New Year

The much awaited movieHappy New Year has finally decided its cast. Farah Khan, who is giving direction to this flick and producing it as well, has signed Jackie Shroff for playing a villainous role. The other cast already roped in for the lead are Shah Rukh Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, Boman Irani and Vivaan Shah.

Deepika Padukone is playing the female lead, who is the only actress in the film. Happy New Year is a story of five friends who participate in a dance competition, in spite of being untouched by this art. The27-year-old, who is a bar girl in the film, helps these men with their dancing. Deepika not only improves them but also makes them able to win the competition. The film is to go on floors by the end of this month and will begin its shot from Dubai.
